A List of Values on a dynamically-added/custom control-type column is visible while Page Designer is open for editing, but disappears (the LOV just isn't available) once Page Designer is closed and the page is viewed normally. What would cause an LOV to only work in edit mode?

As a first troubleshooting step, clear the Aurena projection, metadata, and lobby caches — a stale cached copy of the page's metadata (from before the new control type/column was fully registered) is a plausible cause of an LOV showing correctly in the live Page Designer session but not in the normally-rendered page, since Page Designer and the regular page can end up reading from different cache states until they're refreshed.
