After updating an attribute (or adding a new one) on a Custom Logical Unit, the change doesn't show up on the Custom Page bound to it, even after synchronizing and using Reload Configuration — short of deleting and recreating the whole custom page, how do you get it to pick up the change?

Answer

Try RMB > Properties > Layout on the page first, and use its Reset Layout link — apply and save, then re-add the fields to the page; this alone resolves most cases where display text or new attributes aren't reflected. If that doesn't help, refresh the Custom Objects cache directly by running Install_Tem_SYS.Installation_Support('REFRESH_CUSTOMOBJECTS', NULL); as a PL/SQL block against the database, then restart the client — this forces a full reload of custom-object metadata rather than relying on the page-level Reload Configuration option, which doesn't always pick up structural attribute changes.
