Is it possible to export the results shown in a Lobby list element to Excel, CSV, or some other file format — the same way many standard IFS lists/screens support export?
A Lobby Data Source built on an IAL that joins two otherwise-unrelated views (using REGEXP_SUBSTR to relate them, since there's no real foreign-key relationship) throws an error and shows no data when a specific parameter (like MANAGER) is used in the lobby element's condition — how do you actually diagnose this kind of Lobby-parameter failure?
A Custom Action (backing a Custom RMB being ported from IEE to Aurena) doesn't show up as a selectable Command in Page Designer, even after refreshing both the IEE Dictionary cache and Aurena's own caches.
A specific custom PL/SQL method (in the Application Owner's own schema) doesn't appear as selectable when configuring a Custom Action in an Aurena Projection Configuration, even though other custom methods in the same schema ARE selectable there.
Lobby Data Source Designer's default column types (Text, Decimal, Number, Currency) don't give a clean way to present large numbers/currencies with thousands separators but no decimal places (like 30,000,000 instead of 30.000.000,00) — is it possible to create a genuinely new custom column type for this?
Is it possible to left-align or right-align data within a Lobby List element's cells — currently everything defaults to left-aligned with no visible option to change it?
Is there a way to set your own personal default homepage in Aurena, rather than always landing on the standard default page?
A custom Reference-type field in Aurena is meant to work like a filtered LOV (for example, filtering the LOV's options down based on another field's current value on the same record), but the filter configuration added doesn't seem to actually apply.
A LINKS-type Lobby Element with more links defined than fit on one page (for example, 9 links configured, only 6 shown) doesn't display any 'next page' indicator or pagination control, so users have no visible way to know more links exist beyond double-clicking into the element.
Is there a way to hide a specific Lobby element from one group of users but not others, without duplicating the entire lobby just for a few elements — neither Base Profile nor hiding the element's own presentation object via a permission set seems to actually work once the lobby itself is granted to a user?
Is it feasible to display Aurena Lobbies on smart TVs around an office as information/signage screens, and is there a practical way to actually get a browser-based Aurena page onto a TV?
Is it possible to hide or disable the Delete button on a specific Aurena page, rather than removing delete access at the permission-set level for all pages?
The F1 help window itself opens fine, but its Search function returns a 503 error — what's wrong?
A field grouping/section (like a 'Location Details' area) needs to move from one tab to another on a standard window, or be removed entirely if it ends up empty on its original tab — is this possible without custom development?
Conditional Fields on a standard window suddenly start failing with 'View [X] not found in the dictionary,' and refreshing the Dictionary Cache through the normal option doesn't resolve it — what else can cause this?
Trying to connect a custom reference-type field as the parent key when building a custom tab throws 'The connected key CF$_X is a custom reference and cannot be used in a parent key connection' — how should a key field like this be built instead?
After updating an attribute (or adding a new one) on a Custom Logical Unit, the change doesn't show up on the Custom Page bound to it, even after synchronizing and using Reload Configuration — short of deleting and recreating the whole custom page, how do you get it to pick up the change?
A custom field needs to be mandatory, but a custom event/action set up to validate it can't actually catch the null case — the event apparently doesn't fire at all when the field is left empty, so there's no way to block the save.
What do the various properties under a window's Base Profile 'Features' section (things like RemoveStandardMenu, UserDefinedMenu, HiddenMenuItems) actually control?
A Question Message dialog defaults to 'Yes' as the button that fires when the user presses Enter — is there a way to make 'No' (or another button) the default instead, either through configuration or customization?
A custom field's SQL-based value uses a WHERE clause referencing another custom field on the same screen as a bind variable (like `:CF$_OTHER_FIELD`), but this doesn't work the way a normal argument would — how should the current record's own field values be referenced in a custom field's select statement?
Can an Aurena custom command trigger a standard operational report (like a purchasing report), the same way a classic-client custom menu item can run one?
A user's line-detail section on a screen (e.g. Sub-Contract lines) has been dragged down to a minimized/collapsed height, and hovering over the splitter between sections no longer gives any way to drag it back open — how do you restore it without resetting the user's whole profile?
Increasing the Oracle job_queue_processes parameter (to comfortably exceed the number of configured IFS batch queues) doesn't actually result in more IFS background jobs running in parallel — several queues sit with jobs in 'Posted' status while only a handful execute at once. Why?
How should the Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) ThreadsPerChild/MaxClients setting be sized for an on-premises IFS installation, and how does it interact with Streams' web-socket connections?
Print Agent fails to connect to the compatibility client gateway with a PKIX certification-path error ('unable to find valid certification path to requested target') — what's the fix?
Is it possible to add a custom field onto one of the standard modal dialogs/wizards (like an availability-control-change popup), rather than only being able to edit that data through the main record's context menu?
Can IFS Lobbies be accessed from a mobile device's web browser (e.g. Android), rather than only from a desktop browser?
Is it safe to lower a batch queue's execution-plan polling interval (e.g. from the default 30 seconds down to 5-10 seconds) to make time-sensitive background jobs pick up faster?
How do you make a custom RMB/command in Aurena only enabled when multiple records are selected (and disabled for a single-record selection)?
In IFS Print Agent's ifs-printing.properties file, what happens when both PageSize (e.g. PaperSize=Portrait A4,827,1169) and PageAutoSize=yes are configured at the same time — which one wins?
When scanning a custom Lobby or Lobby element for translatable text, should the component be set to 'No Module,' or is it better to create a dedicated new module just for custom lobby translations?
Performance investigation on an environment turns up a query showing heavy 'Direct Path Read' wait events on a table — what does that wait event actually indicate, and what should be checked?
A custom Aurena Navigation Link that worked fine on an older update stops working correctly after upgrading (search no longer works on the destination page) — the destination side of the link now shows the underlying Oracle column name instead of the Aurena field name in its filter configuration. What changed, and how is it fixed?
Is there an equivalent to IEE's Profile import/export in Aurena, so configuration changes made for testing can be applied to just one user or moved between environments the same way?
Is it possible to restrict write access to just one persistent custom field on an existing screen — for example, letting only one department edit a particular checkbox — while leaving the rest of the page editable for everyone with page access, all through permission sets rather than a Custom Event?
What's actually involved in using Oracle Database In-Memory (IM) with IFS Applications, and which kinds of queries benefit most from it?
Where is the 'Maximum Rows' setting located in the application, controlling how many rows a screen will fetch before warning the user?
Is it possible to display a scrolling/moving broadcast message banner to all logged-in users (e.g. announcing planned server downtime), the way some environments show near the top of the screen?
