After upgrading from Apps9 to IFS Cloud, some Lobby Elements that were migrated over don't show a Save button in the element designer even after making changes. Bug or by design?

Answer

Check the Component field in the element designer's Information section — it should read CONFIG. If it doesn't, change it to CONFIG and the Save button should reappear; if it's already set to CONFIG but the button is still missing, try removing and re-adding that Component value to force the designer to pick it up correctly.
