Based on real-world experience from customers running this setup: 8GB of RAM has proven to be the key factor for responsive performance running IEE on a Windows 10 tablet — more so a Windows 10 requirement than something specific to IEE itself. Tablets from several years earlier (even 2015-2016-era hardware) with 8GB RAM have run IEE without issue in production, both connected locally on a corporate domain and remotely over VPN for traveling users. SSD storage is a nice-to-have but the RAM amount is what's consistently reported as the more critical factor for a responsive experience.
