What's the correct way to delete or un-deploy a custom field in IFS10, when there are other custom fields still active on the same Logical Unit?

Answer

First, uncheck the field's Approve checkbox at line level in the custom field window and save, then RMB and choose Unpublish. If other custom fields remain active on the same Logical Unit, Synchronize afterward so the LU's structure stays consistent for the fields that are still in use. A full Delete option is also available as a separate explicit action if you want to remove the field definition entirely rather than just unpublishing it.
