A Crystal Report currently uses two separate views, and a new consolidated view (that includes/combines both) was created to add another condition — using Set Datasource Location to point the report at the new view (to preserve the existing layout) doesn't actually remove the old links to the two original views.

Answer

This particular swap — replacing two existing linked views with one new consolidated view while keeping the layout intact — doesn't appear achievable through Set Datasource Location or similar built-in Crystal tooling; the old view links persist regardless. The practical workaround used successfully instead is to skip trying to swap views entirely and directly modify the already-linked existing view itself to add whatever new condition/logic you needed the new consolidated view for, rather than trying to introduce and switch to a brand-new view.
