A modified/renamed copy of a native IFS Operational Report layout has been set up and marked as the active layout in Report Definitions (with the original native report toggled off), but ordering the report still produces the native IFS layout instead of the custom one — what's the missing step?

In Report Definitions, use both the 'In Use' flag and the Layout Order value together, rather than only toggling the native report's flag off — setting the custom layout's own 'In Use' flag on and giving it an appropriate Layout Order is what actually makes the reporting engine pick the custom layout over the native one, rather than the native flag toggle alone being sufficient.
