In IEE, there was a setting ('IEE Feature for Previewing BR Reports') that let you preview an IFS Business Reporter report directly inside the client — is there an equivalent way to view a Business Reporter report from within Aurena?

No — that in-client Business Reporter preview functionality isn't available in the Aurena web client. The alternative is downloading the Business Reporter report to a trusted location and opening/viewing it separately (typically in Excel, since that's the format Business Reporter results are delivered in) rather than viewing it inline within Aurena itself.
