IFS Business Reporter is the tool for this: create a Quick Information Source from the IAL, then build a report with one sheet holding the data pulled from that Information Source and a second sheet containing the actual Pivot Table built on top of it. Depending on the exact requirement, a Pivot Table isn't always necessary either — Business Reporter's repeater functionality can sometimes achieve the same refreshable-from-IFS result more directly, without needing a separate pivot-table layer.
