On IFS9, without a native REST destination type, an outbound HTTP Routing Address POSTing to a known third-party API returns 'Internal server error,' even though the headers and message body have been confirmed correct against the same endpoint using a REST testing tool.
How can you check whether the SOAP Gateway is actually running and reachable in an environment, before trying to set up an integration that depends on it?
Is it possible to set up a webhook-style integration in IFS10, sending an outbound POST request to an external API endpoint from an Event Action, given that this isn't possible on Apps9?
An Event fails to send an email notification with 'SMTPSendFailedException: 550 5.7.60 SMTP; Client does not have permissions to send as sender.' Is this an IFS Connect configuration problem?
For an inbound Application Message carrying binary data (like a PDF), documentation describes the framework wrapping the file as Base64-encoded content inside a BIN_DATA element under a BINARY_PARAMETER XML wrapper, with the receiving PL/SQL method's input therefore expected to be that XML. In practice, though, a test PL/SQL function that simply returns its input clob unchanged ends up producing the raw file itself as the message response, not XML. Is this a documentation error?
On IFS2003, IFS Events has stopped sending emails after disconnecting from a parent company's network, because it can no longer reach their mail host. Where is the Mail Host setting for IFS Events actually configured, since it doesn't appear to be a directly-editable configuration file?
IFS document links embedded in SharePoint work fine when the user's default browser is Internet Explorer or Edge, but fail when it's Chrome, Firefox, or similar, since the link needs to first launch IFS10 in a browser those links can't force open. Is there a way to force such a link to open in a specific browser regardless of the user's actual default browser?
