Where do the pre- and post-deployment database scripts live when migrating an older application generation into IFS Cloud?
Can a Release Update and a Service Update be applied together in the same delivery cycle, and does the order matter?
We took a temporary out-of-band fix for a critical defect, then later took the Service Update that properly resolves it — can the temporary fix's customization files now be safely removed?
A screen or list view that existed in an older UI generation (like Handling Units) seems to be missing in Cloud.
Can a field be configured to be clickable and navigate to a related record's page, the way some standard fields already do?
Immediately after a fresh installation, the built-in administrative account shows as disabled and blocks the first login.
How do we change IFS system-level account passwords (like the core application accounts) in a Kubernetes-based Cloud installation?
An application server fails to stop cleanly, hanging on the server-kill step with a process-termination timeout. A fresh middleware installation can also fail partway through configuration with no clear application-level cause.
Mid-project, a newer release becomes available while our upgrade build home is already set to an older target version — do we need to redo anything to pick up the latest patches?
After migrating a user profile from an older application generation, the user still can't log into Cloud even with a minimal set of screens/functions assigned.
Can installing an update reset or remove a permission-set structure we've customized?
Update installations keep failing or behaving strangely for reasons that don't match anything in our own change records.
The middle-tier server image download option that used to exist under "manage deployments" for a remote deployment is no longer showing.
A release target version doesn't appear as selectable in Developer Studio yet, even though it should be close to available.
A custom object was created but doesn't show up among the business representatives available in Page Designer.
Order Delivery fails during Release Update Studio's solution-set verification step.
Can a serial/SM object's parent be scrapped without scrapping every child object first?
Release Update Studio only offers an impact assessment for the very next release, even though we'd like to jump straight to a later one — do we have to take every release in order?
Is a long-range (multi-year) product roadmap published, or only near-term releases?
How is single sign-on (like Azure AD) actually set up for IFS Cloud, and is it the same as an older on-prem generation?
Can we install a newer update directly into a TEST environment while DEV is still on an older one, to validate a fix before committing to it in DEV?
After increasing RAM or vCPU on the middleware server, is a reconfiguration required?
Is there a cost for routine updates while still within the standard support period?
A production delivery fails with a generic "no database connection exists" error, while the same delivery installed cleanly on other environments.
After an upgrade, the application returns a 401 Authorization Required error right after clicking through from the landing page.
Where is the documentation for applying a Service Update, since it doesn't appear on the main Technical Documentation site?
Is it safe to rename a tab or field label through page configuration, and does it survive future releases?
Can a dynamically calculated graphic (not a stored image) be added to a report in Report Designer?
Is a specific load balancer required to set up clustering for a remote/on-prem installation?
The existing ifs_home directory is corrupted and an update can't be applied — how do we safely recreate it from the build home?
A long-running server-side report or SQL-backed request fails with a Gateway Time-out after roughly a minute, even though the same query completed fine on an older environment.
We have several deliveries queued up in the build place — is it better to apply them one at a time, or is there a way to combine them?
Is there a way to subscribe to or get notified automatically when a new release/update is published, instead of manually checking?
Can LU-level templates be exported so they can be migrated to another environment and adjusted there?
Is there a predictable release cadence for Service Updates, so we can plan around when the next one is likely to land?
An inbound EDI setup that worked on an older application generation (using a specific routing mechanism) doesn't have an obvious equivalent after moving to Cloud.
A customer order sent in through an inbound web service integration doesn't appear anywhere afterward, with no error returned.
There's a reference to an "admin page" in documentation or discussions, but there's no menu item for it in our environment.
When requesting an update through the Service Portal, what does it mean by asking whether we have anything like a Global Extension or a localization?
